Welcome to The Chandlery…

The name Ngozi is of African origin and means sweet blessings, or being a blessing. All products are hand poured in my chandlery located in Stony Hill, Jamaica with many ingredients being sourced locally.  

I have always had a deeply rooted obsession with hand-made products due to my father’s influence. He is quite the nomad. Whenever he would leave California and return to Jamaica, on his visits, he would never be short of organic soaps, beeswax candles and honey sticks. 

These items weren’t being produced in Jamaica in abundance during those times, but even as a little girl, they acted as a balm for my spirit. They influenced my being and that’s how Ngozi emerged. 

Over the past few years I have been exposed to all walks of life. These were all people who needed to find solace, hope, peace & contentment. Knowing that others are influenced in a major way by my creations gives me satisfaction. Everything made here is done so with the best intention and love.

All products are vegan as we only use natural oils, butters, essential oils from nature for our soaps and body care products. The fragrances used in our candles are all phthalate free!
